How to treat a Centipede Biteby Tomoaki Ueda 【Centipede Bite and Treatment】If you would have had a Centipede Bite, immediately warm the part and around it well by using hot water over 43 degrees centigrade (110℉) and wash it carefully by using shampoo or soap.Never cool it before washing. If you would do so, you could feel more acute pains. Now you might suffer an acute pain. Be calm! I have a good news. It is difficult for a centipede to kill a person. In addition to this, I would like to inform you that I had found the best first aid procedures in May, 2006. It is based on the knowledge regarding the hyperthermia against the cancer. When I had a Centipede Bite during sleeping, I thought this method rapidly and tried it. It was very effective for my case. I wrote the Japanese document regarding this treatment method against the Centipede Bite on my web page March 20, 2007. Today you can find 200 Japanese blog pages and tweeter messages by the additional testers on Japanese Internet. This method has already become one of the most popular cures for a Centipede Bite in Japan. The toxin of Centipede is the proteinous enzyme toxin. Generally the protein and the enzyme are weak against heat. So the enzyme toxin of the Centipede can be deactivated by thermal denaturation. The thermal denaturation temperature may be about 42℃ (degrees centigrade). It is possible to deactivate the toxin of Centipede by warming over 42℃ (108℉). Immediately, warm your Centipede Bite and around it by hot water over 43℃ (110℉) and wash it by shampoo or soap. Continue this process for about 5～20 minutes until your pain will be disappeared. However you had better use the hot water between 43℃ (110℉) and 46℃ (115℉) in order to avoid the dangerousness of the thermal injury. Centipede has a pair of strong jaw. But it is not a injector. Centipede bites your skin by using it, moves wild on your skin in order to injure your skin by the plural feet and spreads the enzyme toxin on your skin. 【About my experience】It was occured on May, 2006.Ouch! One night, I had been bit by a centipede during sleeping. I felt an acute pain on my head skin. I had been stung by honey bee three times previously. But I thought that the pain of a Centipede Bite were strongly more acute than a bee stung. It was midnight. I was out of luck. I thought, "If I would call an ambulance and go to a hospital, I could not receive medical treatment rapidly at the hospital." In addition to this, I knew that there was no effective treatment against a Centipede Bite. However I could not live with the acute pain of a Centipede Bite. I had decided to search the effective treatment method by using Internet. According to a page written by an internal medicine specialist, "Cool it". I had done so as soon as possible. But I had felt more acute pain. "Shit! It is a fraud. He is a liar." I was feeling that the acute pain became stronger. "Perhaps I won't be able to endure it for over 10 minutes." Then the previous experiences of mosquito bites flashed in my brain. I went to the bathroom. I kept the temperature of the shower at 43 degrees centigrade. I heated up a Centipede Bite well by using the hot shower. And I washed it carefully by a shampoo. Waaaaaoooooouuuuuuuu! Great! Yahoo! What was happen to me? I had no longer felt any pains. All pains of a Centipede Bite had been disappeared. It was wonderful. I had executed the same process carefully again. It was just several minutes since I entered the bathroom. 【Why is it effective?】Actually I am the researcher of Magnetic Hyperthermia Apparatus against cancer. Hyperthermia is the medical treatment in order to kill only the cancer cells by the heat. The toxin seemed to interpenetrate gradually into the tissue. I had estimated that the enzyme toxin exists on the skin surface. So I had decided warming the Centipede Bite well by using the hot water over 43 degrees centigrade and washing it carefully by using the shampoo. It was very effective in my case. |
